Property Overview

Ocean Reef has a wide array of properties to meet the various needs of buyers.  The majority of homes and condos that are sold in Ocean Reef are fully furnished and ready for use on the day of closing.  Like most places in the world, it is the location of the property--not the house or condo itself--that factors most heavily in determining the price of the property. 

Locations at Ocean Reef are broken down into 6 major categories: ocean front, bay front, canal front, lake front, golf course and interior properties.  Locations with water access and/or open water views, and properties with southeast exposure are highly sought after and thus the most expensive.  Dockage needs for owners of lake front, golf course front, and interior homes can be accommodated by MarineMax which is located in the Fishing Village.

There are a total of 1,835 properties that exist at Ocean Reef, including homes, condominiums, vacant lots, and dock slips. 

Homes

Single family homes at Ocean Reef run the gamut from 50 years old to brand new, from 2 bedroom cottages to 8+ bedroom estates.  As always, location determines the price of the property more than the size of the home that is currently built there.  It is becoming increasingly more common for buyers to purchase a home for the land and the view, and build a new home in its place.

Vacant Lots

If you wish to build the home of your dreams, a number of vacant lots are available at Ocean Reef.  There are ocean front, bay front, canal front, lake front, golf course front and interior lots.  The location of the lot determines the price.

Dock Slips

Condominiums 

Condominiums at Ocean Reef come in varying sizes and locations, from studios to multi-story 4 bedroom condominiums.  Most condos are sold fully-furnished, and when not in use by the owner, some are made available as vacation rentals to other members and guests as a way to generate revenue.
